About
I keep building companies.
I have spent most of my career starting software companies, learning what customers actually buy, and occasionally selling the result.
Mutual Mobile
I co-founded Mutual Mobile when the iPhone still looked like a new market instead of a permanent fact of life. We built mobile products for large companies and grew alongside the category. The company was later acquired.
Jog.ai
Jog recorded and transcribed calls, then made the conversation searchable. We started the company before every meeting product had an AI summary. Jog was acquired in 2019.
Runpoint
Runpoint builds owned business software. AI has made custom systems cheap enough that the old buy-versus-build calculation no longer holds in a growing number of categories. We sit with users, learn the work, and build around it.

I also own a fabrication company.
Austin Custom CNC fabricates wood, metal, and stone for architects, designers, contractors, and builders. Running a shop is a useful corrective to software abstraction. Material shows up late. Machines break. A contract clause can erase the margin on a good job.
